Key Responsibilities

Process Design and Implementation

• Design, document, and implement scalable accounting workflows tailored to multiple subsidiaries, ensuring seamless operations and scalability as the business grows.

• Create standardized procedures for critical functions including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), invoicing, inventory tracking, cost accounting, payroll processing, and treasury management.

• Build comprehensive month-end and year-end close processes, complete with detailed calendars, checklists, assigned responsibilities, and strict deadlines to streamline reporting cycles.

Compliance and Controls

• Establish robust internal controls aligned with private equity (PE)-backed operational best practices, mitigating risks and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Develop audit-ready accounting documentation, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to facilitate smooth external audits and regulatory reviews.

• Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP across all entities, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.

• Assist CEO and CFO with advanced forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.

• Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, and consolidation reporting for multi-entity structures.

• Oversee accruals, revenue recognition, fixed assets management, and depreciation schedules with precision.

Systems and Automation

• Evaluate and optimize current accounting systems such as QuickBooks Enterprise or NetSuite, recommending upgrades for enhanced functionality.

• Build automated workflows that eliminate manual errors, boost data visibility, and accelerate processing times.

• Implement specialized tools for inventory management, COGS reporting, and real-time cash tracking to drive operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess deep technical accounting knowledge combined with a proven ability to build and improve processes. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in PE-backed or multi-entity environments
