  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Finance Department including AP, AR, general ledger, account reconciliation, payroll, sales taxes, accruals, and intercompany transactions
  • Review general ledger activity to ensure accurate recording and reflection
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, QTD, and YTD financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow statements, and budget-to-actual variance analyses
  • Provide leadership, guidance, training, and support to junior team members; assist in hiring and retention
  • Manage treasury functions including reconciliation of bank accounts, safes, and cash forecasting
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of state and local taxes; support annual tax document preparation
  • Evaluate and implement accounting systems, internal controls, and software solutions
  • Conduct financial analyses for capital planning, pricing, COGS, labor patterns, inventory variances, and vendor negotiations
  • Collaborate with Director of Finance & Accounting on strategic financial initiatives
  • Drive process improvements to support rapid company growth through acquisitions
