About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the entire month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Owning monthly financial reporting and developing business metrics for consolidated and terminal-level performance evaluation.
• Establishing best-practice accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Conducting thorough reviews of balance sheet reconciliations and income statements for proper coding and accruals.
• Managing weekly financial dashboards to support executive decision-making.
• Overseeing the treasury function and partnering with the treasurer on banking projects and ad-hoc requests.
• Directly managing the Roadtex accounting team, fostering effective communication and growth.
• Collaborating with the corporate office's FP&A team on financial metrics, forecasts, and data requests.
• Handling audit and compliance documentation for business, legal, and insurance needs.
• Performing reconciliations between TMS (ERP) systems and the general ledger.
• Supporting accounting software integrations and process mapping initiatives.
• Working cross-functionally with IT and operations to identify improvements, recommend solutions, and drive productivity and automation projects.
• Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement within accounting operations.

Required Qualifications
