Key Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will spearhead all core accounting activities, ensuring seamless operations and strategic financial insights:

• Lead comprehensive accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance.
• Manage efficient month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Oversee job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, and detailed project profitability reporting tailored to construction projects.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
• At least 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role, ideally in construction, real estate, or project-based industries.
• CPA certification or active pursuit strongly preferred; CMA or equivalent a plus.
