Oversee all core accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL) maintenance, fixed assets management, and payroll processing. Ensure financial records are meticulously accurate and up-to-date, while driving timely month-end and year-end close processes to keep operations humming smoothly.
Deliver high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Craft insightful management reports, interactive dashboards, and KPI summaries that empower the CFO and leadership team to make data-driven decisions.
Uphold strict adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations. Lead audit preparations, coordinate with external auditors, and manage tax filings alongside consultants. Your proactive approach will safeguard the company against risks and ensure seamless compliance.
Collaborate closely with the CFO to craft annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial strategies. Vigilantly track variances, analyze trends, and recommend actionable corrections to hit financial targets and support sustainable growth.
Pinpoint inefficiencies in existing systems and spearhead transformative improvements. Maximize ERP and financial software utilization for peak performance. Partner with operations, sales, and other teams to refine cost accounting, inventory controls, and provide financial insights that sharpen business decisions.
To thrive as our Accounting Manager, you bring a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity. CPA certification is highly preferred. You possess deep expertise in GAAP, proficiency with ERP platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP, and a track record in startups or fast-paced settings. Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to juggle priorities while communicating complex financial concepts clearly are essential. Experience with budgeting tools, audit coordination, and process automation will set you apart.
