Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Operations

• Directly manage a team of five accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture through coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financials.

Technical Accounting and Reporting

• Perform in-depth technical accounting research on complex transactions, revenue recognition, leases, and other GAAP-related matters.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for executive review.

Audit and Compliance Support

• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring smooth audit processes.
• Maintain robust internal controls, SOX compliance (if applicable), and adherence to all relevant accounting standards.

Business Partnering

• Collaborate closely with department heads and the CFO on annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions, cost optimization, and growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this Accounting Manager role, candidates should bring a proven track record in technical accounting and leadership. Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; Master's degree or CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity leading accounting teams.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, technical accounting research (e.g., ASC topics), and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience assisting auditors, managing close processes, and budgeting/forecasting.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and build cross-functional relationships.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite), Excel advanced functions, and financial modeling tools.
