Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage comprehensive month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, conducting variance analysis, and finalizing financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee all financial reporting activities, meticulously reviewing documents for accuracy, compliance with GAAP standards, and alignment with internal company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to facilitate smooth and successful audit outcomes.
  • Develop robust budgets and forecasts, handling annual budgeting cycles as well as quarterly updates to support strategic business planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure seamless consolidation of financial data from multiple legal entities, reconciling intercompany transactions and maintaining consolidated financial health.
  • Supervise a team of accounting staff, offering mentorship, training, and performance guidance, with a focus on enhancing cost accounting expertise in a manufacturing context.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization tools, to automate and optimize reporting workflows.
  • Monitor and refine inventory and cost accounting processes, implementing best practices to improve accuracy in manufacturing cost tracking and allocation.

Required Qualifications
