Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of Agile maturity across multiple Scrum teams to pinpoint strengths, gaps, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Deliver hands-on coaching to Scrum Masters and development teams, instilling Agile and Scrum best practices for optimal performance.
• Create detailed, actionable improvement roadmaps and rigorously track measurable outcomes like velocity, cycle time, and defect rates.
• Champion the implementation of an Enterprise Agile model that operates efficiently without dedicated release engineers.
• Elevate Scrum Masters from mere task coordinators to empowered Agile leaders capable of driving team success independently.
• Collaborate closely with IT leadership to refine and standardize Agile ways of working across the entire department.
• Reevaluate and optimize capacity planning, team structures, and consistency in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
• Maintain daily coaching touchpoints with assigned teams to ensure sustained momentum and address blockers in real-time.
• Provide expert support to both U.S.-based and offshore teams, sharing best practices to align global delivery efforts.
• Contribute to building a robust, long-term Agile foundation that supports scalable IT delivery and future growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Agile Coach role, candidates must bring a wealth of experience and a coach's mindset. Key qualifications include:

• 5+ years of hands-on Agile coaching experience, ideally in large-scale enterprise IT environments undergoing transformation.
• Proven success in assessing Agile maturity and developing roadmaps that deliver tangible business results.
• Deep expertise in Scrum frameworks, including ceremonies, artifacts, and roles, with adaptability to hybrid Agile models.
• Demonstrated ability to coach Scrum Masters toward leadership excellence and team self-sufficiency.
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops, retrospectives, and leadership alignment sessions.
• Experience supporting distributed teams, including offshore resources, in an Agile context.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence without authority.
• Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), SAFe Agilist, or similar are a plus.
