Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our clients' accounts payable functions, ensuring seamless financial operations. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Processing high volumes of invoices with pinpoint accuracy, applying proper coding, and ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Managing end-to-end AP workflows, from vendor invoice receipt to payment execution via ACH transactions, check runs, and electronic transfers.
• Verifying vendor statements, reconciling account discrepancies, and maintaining impeccable financial records to support accurate reporting.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and operations teams to swiftly resolve payment inquiries, disputes, and variances.
• Organizing and archiving all AP documentation meticulously for effortless audits, tax preparations, and internal reviews.
• Playing a key role in implementing advanced payment automation systems, streamlining processes, and driving operational efficiencies.
• Monitoring vendor payments to ensure timeliness, adherence to contracts, and optimal cash flow management.
• Contributing to month-end and year-end closings by preparing comprehensive reconciliations, accruals, and analytical reports.
• Analyzing AP key performance indicators (KPIs) such as days payable outstanding (DPO), invoice processing time, and error rates to recommend process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; Associate's degree with equivalent experience considered.
