  • Prepare and review comprehensive monthly financial statements and detailed project cost reports for informed decision-making.
  • Drive accurate revenue recognition using percentage-of-completion (POC) or completed contract methods, adhering to ASC 606 standards.
  • Execute efficient month-end and year-end close processes, minimizing delays and errors.
  • Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Collaborate with project managers on budget reviews, financial forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance through management of Certificates of Insurance (COIs), W-9 forms, and preliminary notices.
  • Support external audits, bonding requirements, and lender reporting with precise documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, strengthening internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in ERP system implementations or optimizations, such as Sage 300, Viewpoint Vista, Procore, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
