Key Responsibilities

As Assistant General Counsel, your days will be filled with high-impact legal work:

• Engage in drafting and negotiating development agreements, construction contracts, management agreements, and other critical documents essential to real estate projects.
• Lead comprehensive due diligence reviews, with a sharp focus on title and survey analysis to mitigate risks in investments.
• Expertly review and interpret community governance documents, including declarations of covenants, homeowners’ association (HOA) bylaws, and condominium declarations.
• Offer proactive legal support to various departments, ensuring seamless operations across the organization.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse array of commercial contracts, from NDAs and operating agreements to partnership deals, employment contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Manage all documentation for real estate transactions, covering acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, loans, development initiatives, asset management, and leasing arrangements.
• Stay abreast of evolving laws in commercial real estate, title searches, corporate transactions, and transactional law to guarantee full regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications
