Key Responsibilities

Litigation Excellence

Lead employment litigation matters, managing cases through discovery, motions, and trial. Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and strategize case resolutions for optimal client outcomes.

Advice & Counsel

Provide expert guidance on labor and employment issues, helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes including PERB, DFEH, and DOL proceedings.

Advocacy & Arguments

Deliver compelling oral arguments in adversarial settings such as administrative law judge hearings, state and federal courts, and arbitrations. Excel in law & motion practice to secure favorable rulings.

Partnership Development

Billing hours efficiently to maximize bonuses while building a track record for partnership consideration. Collaborate with firm leadership on high-profile public sector cases.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Expertise

2-20+ years in employment litigation, with preference for public sector and municipality work. Proven track record in discovery, depositions, and motions practice.

Skills & Competencies

Superior writing and oral advocacy skills are non-negotiable. Experience with oral arguments in diverse forums, including ALJ hearings and trials. Strong work ethic and career ambition required.

Education & Licensing
