Key Responsibilities

  • Launch innovative programs for staff recognition, teambuilding, morale enhancement, and well-being, tailored to hybrid work dynamics.
  • Lead the annual performance review cycle, developing efficient systems and processes for fairness and effectiveness.
  • Oversee biweekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Securely manage personnel files, records, and retrieval systems for current and former employees.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends, regulatory updates, emerging technologies, and employment law changes, translating them into actionable policies and communications for leadership.
  • Coordinate annual Workers' Compensation audits and other compliance requirements.
  • Periodically audit and propose revisions to the employee handbook to reflect best practices and legal standards.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should bring 7+ years of HR experience, including leadership in strategic HR functions within non-profits or similar organizations.
