Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations and AP/AR Management

Take charge of high-volume accounts payable processes, meticulously handling invoice processing and vendor management tailored to construction project workflows. Your expertise will ensure seamless payments, negotiated terms with suppliers, and minimized disruptions to job sites across Westchester and beyond.

Compliance and Reporting

Maintain impeccable 1099 reporting standards while navigating multi-state sales tax complexities for Connecticut (CT), New York (NY), and New Jersey (NJ). Your vigilance will safeguard the firm against audits and penalties in this regulated industry.

Payroll Administration

Administer payroll for approximately 200 salaried employees, tackling multi-state regulations, overtime calculations unique to construction crews, and timely disbursements that keep teams motivated and productive.

AIA Billing and Project Financials

Lead the full-cycle AIA billing process—from preparation and submission to reconciliation and closeout. Collaborate with project managers to track budgets, forecast costs, and generate insightful financial reports that inform strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this Bookkeeper position, you need proven expertise in construction accounting and AIA billing, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in similar roles.
