• Subtitle Mastery: Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks on English-to-Canadian French (EN → FR-CA) subtitles for high-energy fitness classes, applying exceptional attention to detail to eliminate errors and enhance viewer engagement.
• AI Evaluation Expertise: Assess AI-generated subtitles using standardized error categorization and scoring frameworks, providing actionable insights to optimize machine learning models.
• Terminology Leadership: Research, translate, and establish standardized fitness and product terminology tailored specifically for Canadian French audiences, ensuring consistency across all content.
• Dubbing Refinement: Edit and perfect both AI-powered and studio-recorded dubbing audio, fine-tuning pronunciation, intonation, pacing, and naturalness to mirror authentic speech patterns.
• Technical Precision: Guarantee precise lip-sync, timing, and synchronization between dubbed audio and original video footage for seamless immersion.
• Cultural Guardianship: Validate linguistic accuracy and infuse cultural nuances, preserving the original dialogue's intent while adapting it authentically for Quebec and broader Canadian French viewers.
• Audio QC Excellence: Perform rigorous audio quality control to detect and resolve issues related to clarity, consistency, or technical glitches.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Demonstrated proficiency in fitness, wellness, or sports-related terminology translation and localization.
• Familiarity with AI tools for localization, including subtitle generation and voice synthesis technologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and a passion for linguistic precision.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, studios, and content creators.
• Strong technical aptitude for audio editing software, synchronization tools, and quality assessment frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Media Production, or a related field (preferred).
