About the Role

As a CJIS Enclave Penetration Tester, you'll dive deep into highly secure environments, simulating real-world attacks to uncover vulnerabilities. This contract-to-hire role focuses on internal, external, and enclave-specific testing across diverse systems including on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), disaster recovery/business continuity setups, wireless networks, and microwave links. With engagements lasting 2-3 weeks, including potential after-hours work, you'll deliver actionable insights that drive remediation and compliance. Key Responsibilities

Conduct Comprehensive Penetration Testing

Plan and execute penetration tests following strict rules of engagement. Validate enclave boundaries, network segmentation, traffic paths, jump hosts, and administrative access controls. Test across CJIS-compliant and non-compliant environments to identify weaknesses before compliance audits begin.

Evidence Handling and Reporting Excellence

Maintain impeccable chain-of-custody for all evidence, adhering to law enforcement and agency protocols. Produce detailed executive summaries and technical reports featuring reproducible findings, proof-of-concept exploits, business impact assessments, and prioritized remediation roadmaps aligned with CJIS, NIST 800-53, PCI standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

Required Qualifications
