Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Deploying, configuring, and managing cloud resources across Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implementing robust cloud security controls such as IAM/RBAC permissions, data encryption, compliance policies, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code templates using tools like Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation for repeatable deployments.
• Supporting and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for seamless automated deployments of applications and infrastructure changes.
• Monitoring cloud performance metrics, availability, cost optimization, and setting up proactive alerting using native cloud monitoring tools.
• Troubleshooting advanced cloud networking challenges including firewalls, VNETs/VPCs, routing tables, VPN gateways, and load balancers.
• Managing containerized workloads with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration for microservices architectures.
• Collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and systems administration teams on complex cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, operational procedures, and best practices guidelines.
• Assisting with strategic cloud optimization efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Cloud Engineer role, candidates should possess:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
• Deep proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with working knowledge of others.
• Proven expertise in IaC tools including Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Strong background in cloud security implementation, including IAM, RBAC, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
