Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain advanced security solutions, including SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and cloud-native tools like AWS GuardDuty or Azure Sentinel, to protect cloud-based systems and networks.
• Continuously monitor infrastructure using tools like Splunk or ELK Stack to detect and respond to unusual activities, intrusions, or security breaches in real-time.
• Conduct thorough investigations of security alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and ensuring timely resolutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability scans with tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or cloud-specific scanners, recommending and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to implement and manage security tools tailored to hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
