Required Qualifications

To thrive as our Construction Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CPA, CMA, or similar certification highly preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in construction accounting, with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity managing teams of 3-10 members.
  • Deep expertise in construction-specific accounting practices, including revenue recognition under ASC 606, job costing, percentage-of-completion methods, and change order management.
  • Proven proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage 300, Viewpoint, Procore, or Timberline, with strong Excel skills for advanced modeling.
  • Impeccable knowledge of payroll tax compliance, including multi-state filings, workers' comp, and 401(k) regulations relevant to New Mexico construction projects.
