  • Ensure all contracts are precisely captured, tagged, and categorized within the system, incorporating critical metadata such as licensor details, brand territories, product categories, royalty structures, and approval workflows.
  • Oversee version control, clause tracking, and comprehensive audit trail maintenance to support transparency and accountability.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to enable effective decision-making and proactive risk management within the licensing framework.

Licensing & Royalty Compliance

  • Interpret intricate contractual terms and obligations, including minimum guarantees, tiered royalty rates, payment caps, audit rights, and pre-approval conditions.
  • Identify potential business risks tied to contract performance and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively monitor contractual milestones like reporting deadlines, renewals, minimum ad spend, and geographic restrictions.
  • Facilitate enterprise-wide compliance through customized checklists and obligation summaries distributed to departments.
  • Coordinate with Finance and ERP teams to synchronize contract terms with royalty calculations and payment schedules.

System Administration & Process Ownership

  • Lead daily administration of the royalties platform, managing user provisioning, role-based access controls, and escalation protocols.
  • Configure automated alerts and notifications for critical events such as renewals and obligation thresholds.
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations for seamless integrations with ERP and PLM systems, ensuring robust data flow and real-time reporting.
  • Support legacy contract migrations via data ingestion, validation, and reviews of OCR/NLP extraction accuracy.

Governance, Risk & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed audit trails for all contract actions, modifications, and approvals.
  • Provide documentation and evidence during internal/external audits to demonstrate compliance excellence.
  • Generate insightful royalty and compliance reports for licensors, brand managers, and C-suite executives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by pinpointing process gaps and recommending workflow, system, or policy enhancements.

Required Qualifications
