Key Responsibilities

Month-End Mastery: Orchestrate the entire monthly close process, including bi-weekly program billings, payroll processing, accounts payable management, and detailed budget variance analysis to deliver accurate financial insights.

Revenue & Rates Expertise: Oversee revenue recognition per ASC 606 and government standards. Lead the development of Indirect Rates and manage annual Incurred Cost Submissions to the cognizant federal agency, ensuring audit-ready accuracy.

Cash Flow Optimization: Monitor cash positions, deliver precise forecasting models, and implement strategies to meet obligations while seizing strategic investments in a volatile government funding landscape.

Executive Reporting & Compliance: Craft board-level financial presentations and prepare audit responses for state auditors, DCAA, and DCMA. Guarantee adherence to FAR, DFARS, internal controls, and all applicable regulations.

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of four accountants, fostering a culture of excellence in DoD financial management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (Master's/CPA strongly preferred)
