Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Ensure full compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Lead support for annual audits and collaborate with tax advisors for seamless filings.

Inventory & Operational Finance

  • Maintain accurate inventory valuation and cost accounting for distribution and own-branded manufacturing.
  • Develop KPIs like inventory turns, fill rate, DSO, and DPO to monitor distribution efficiency.
  • Implement controls for shrinkage, obsolescence, cycle counts, and year-end physical inventories.
  • Ensure proper costing methods (standard cost, FIFO) and landed cost accuracy.
  • Collaborate with operations on warehouse efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.

Planning, Cash Flow & Controls

  • Lead annual budgeting, mid-year re-forecasts, and variance analysis in partnership with FP&A.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, daily liquidity, AR/AP processes, and collections strategies.
  • Strengthen internal controls across procurement, receiving, inventory, and sales orders.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and optimize ERP workflows for purchasing, inventory, and sales.
  • Drive automation to enhance reporting accuracy and financial visibility.

Leadership & Strategic Support

  • Supervise the accounting team (AP, AR, payroll, inventory) and foster professional growth.
  • Partner with operations, sales, supply chain, and executives to support business expansion.

Required Qualifications
