Lead the consolidations process by partnering closely with Corporate Accounting and international teams. Identify intercompany activity, implement robust processes for accurate reporting and eliminations, and ensure compliance with US GAAP. Perform in-depth reviews across critical areas like revenue recognition, cost of sales, licensing agreements, accounts receivable reserves, inventory provisions, and affiliate accounting to maintain financial integrity.
Oversee the timely completion, review, and documentation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain general ledger accuracy and support a streamlined financial close cycle. Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and other departments to prepare executive-level monthly and quarterly reports that inform strategic decisions.
Ensure your accounting team is fully staffed, trained, and equipped to meet operational demands and reporting deadlines. Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial policies and procedures. Champion process improvements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls, leveraging technology and best practices to transform the financial reporting cycle.
Guide the Corporate Accounting team through external audits, providing documentation and insights for seamless compliance. Partner with senior leadership on ad hoc projects requiring advanced financial analysis, from budgeting forecasts to M&A due diligence. Mentor and coach direct and indirect reports, fostering professional growth and a high-performance culture.
To excel as our Controller, you need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA certification strongly preferred. Bring 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, including at least 3 years in consolidations or technical accounting roles. Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is essential, alongside deep expertise in US GAAP, intercompany eliminations, and financial close processes.
Demonstrate proven leadership in managing accounting teams, with strong analytical skills for complex reconciliations and variance analysis.
