Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reconcile Raiser's Edge with QuickBooks Online, and track inter-chapter transfers. Lead quarterly closings with accrual-based P&L analyses for each chapter, ensuring robust financial visibility.
Serve as the primary audit liaison, coordinating invoicing for shared expenses and compiling comprehensive audit packages from chapter data. Ensure balance sheet closures with audit-ready evidence, apply analytic procedures, and maintain a centralized documentation repository. Oversee finance team deliverables for seamless operations.
Draft technical accounting memos, guide their application to statements, and support Form 990 tax filings. Your expertise will safeguard compliance in a regulated non-profit environment.
To succeed as Controller, candidates need a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience (non-profit preferred), and CPA certification.
