Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent; CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, including 3+ years as Controller or similar in construction, real estate, or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success leading accounting teams and managing full-cycle financial operations.
• Deep expertise in job costing, project-based accounting, and financial consolidations for multi-entity structures.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and ERP systems like Sage, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks.
• Proven track record in month-end/quarter-end closes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and construction-specific financial regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration with project managers and executives.
