  • Uphold rigorous adherence to automotive industry standards, GAAP principles, and internal financial controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, reconciliations, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and financial health.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration with sales, service, and parts teams to align financial procedures, enhance reporting accuracy, and support business objectives.
  • Mentor and train the accounting team, building high-performance capabilities through guidance and development initiatives.
  • Support external audits, annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and ad-hoc projects that drive dealership profitability.
  • Execute timely and accurate month-end closes, variance analysis, and closeout procedures to enable informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience in automotive dealership accounting, including dealership-specific financial cycles and reporting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements and advanced reporting tools.
