Key Responsibilities

The Controller will oversee comprehensive financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment. Core duties include:

  • Directing all accounting functions: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and specialized cost accounting for manufacturing processes.
  • Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes with precise financial statements and management reporting.
  • Creating robust budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow models to guide operational and capital decisions.
  • Performing in-depth financial analysis of KPIs, profitability trends, cost variances, and growth opportunities.
  • Strengthening internal controls, SOX compliance (if applicable), and GAAP adherence to protect assets and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborating with plant managers on inventory valuation, COGS optimization, and production cost efficiencies.
  • Handling treasury functions: banking relationships, lines of credit, and liquidity management.
  • Coordinating external audits, tax strategies, and regulatory filings with CPA firms and advisors.
  • Building and mentoring a high-performing accounting team through training and performance development.

Required Qualifications for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master's or MBA preferred).
