Key Responsibilities

Take charge of end-to-end accounting excellence with these core duties:

• Supervise monthly close processes: Craft journal entries, reconcile accounts, and dissect intercompany transactions for precision.
• Architect robust financial systems, policies, and procedures to guarantee timely, accurate record-keeping.
• Deliver insightful financial reports to departments and executives, informing strategic decisions.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and GL operations, ensuring operational efficiency and data integrity.
• Implement ironclad internal controls to shield against risks and uphold regulatory compliance.
• Manage insurance renewals and spearhead risk analysis across multiple entities.
• Foster partnerships with auditors, tax experts, and fund administrators for flawless audit/tax deliverables.
• Mentor accounting staff, cultivating detail-oriented performance and growth.
• Partner with leaders on budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning.
• Uncover cost savings through meticulous budget analysis and resource optimization.

Required Qualifications

To excel as our Controller, bring these qualifications to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in full-cycle accounting, from transactions to financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAGE Intacct software.
• Demonstrated success in company integrations and multi-entity accounting.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge, ideally from private equity (PE) or real estate (R/E) sectors.
