About the Role

As Corporate Controller, you'll serve as the cornerstone of the finance team, driving consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities while ensuring strict adherence to GAAP, regulatory standards, and company policies. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of consolidated monthly and annual financial statements, including detailed flux analysis for private equity partners. Ensure all reporting meets the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Systems Leadership: Spearhead accounting system upgrades, ERP transformations, and data integration initiatives to support rapid organizational growth and seamless consolidations.

M&A Support: Play a pivotal role in merger and acquisition processes, managing the financial integration of new entities and aligning systems for unified reporting.

Compliance & Audit Management: Direct external audits, tax compliance (federal, state, local), and foster strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Strategic Planning: Develop consolidated budgets, rolling forecasts, and profitability analyses to guide senior leadership on revenue optimization, expense management, and margin improvements.

Team Collaboration: Partner with business unit controllers to standardize accounting practices, streamline processes, and align financial functions with broader business objectives.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Corporate Controller role, candidates must demonstrate:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Active CPA certification or equivalent
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, including 5+ years in controller-level positions
• Deep expertise in government contracting, private equity reporting, and multi-entity consolidations
• Hands-on experience leading accounting system implementations (ERP, NetSuite, etc.)
• Proven success in M&A financial integrations and due diligence
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and government compliance standards
• Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel and BI tool proficiency
• Superior leadership abilities with experience managing distributed finance teams

Government contracting experience and familiarity with DCAA/DCAA compliance are highly desirable.
