Success demands proven hands-on experience with cybersecurity toolsets: log aggregators (Splunk, ELK), EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco), vulnerability managers (Qualys, Tenable), zero trust (Zscaler, Okta), and remote access (VPN, RDP). Deep understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks is essential.
