Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Leadership

  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, emphasizing speed, accuracy, and automation to streamline operations.
  • Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements and divisional reporting packages, ensuring full compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
  • Maintain the global chart of accounts, financial reporting structure, and rigorous data governance standards to support scalable growth.

Tax Strategy & Compliance

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global tax strategy, encompassing planning, provisioning, compliance, transfer pricing optimization, and intercompany agreements.
  • Lead tax audits and examinations across U.S. and international jurisdictions, proactively mitigating risks and ensuring regulatory adherence.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Analytics

  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, and advanced analytics initiatives, delivering actionable insights on financial trends, tax implications, and operational KPIs.

Digital Transformation & Systems Leadership

  • Spearhead ERP enhancements via Oracle Fusion and integrate automation technologies such as RPA and AI to revolutionize reporting, dashboards, and workflows.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls, including documentation, testing, remediation efforts, and forward-looking risk mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development

  • Champion Finance's role in enterprise-wide projects, collaborating with Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, and IT to enhance profitability and process consistency.
  • Build and mentor a high-caliber accounting team, prioritizing professional development, succession planning, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

To excel as Director of Financial Reporting, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in financial reporting, accounting, and tax functions, ideally within a global manufacturing or multi-divisional organization.
