Supervise AP and AR specialists, implementing best practices for invoice processing, payments, and collections. Oversee all daily accounting procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency in a fast-paced non-profit environment.
Prepare high-quality financial statements and provide essential supporting schedules for the annual audit. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure seamless interactions with external auditors and regulators.
Collaborate on annual budget preparation and assist the CFO with special projects, offering strategic insights that drive the organization's financial health.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, with a CPA certification strongly preferred. Advanced degrees or non-profit accounting experience will set you apart.
Bring 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity. Proven track record in month-end closes, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support is essential, particularly within non-profits or similar organizations.
Proficiency in GAAP, financial software like QuickBooks or NetSuite, and advanced Excel is mandatory. You'll need strong leadership abilities, analytical prowess, and excellent communication skills to thrive in this collaborative setting.
