About the Role

The Director of Clinical Partnerships & Operations is a strategic leader responsible for forging and nurturing relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare providers. You'll ensure seamless access to clinical rotations, manage compliance across state and federal regulations, and enhance student outcomes through robust partnership frameworks. This role demands a blend of operational expertise, relationship management, and deep knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards. Reporting to senior academic leadership, you'll drive initiatives that align educational programs with real-world clinical needs, contributing to the organization's mission of excellence in nursing education and health sciences training.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations or clinical partnerships, with a proven ability to negotiate site agreements and resolve complex issues between stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain clinical site agreements with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and diverse healthcare organizations to expand placement opportunities.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships tailored to support nursing, allied health, and health sciences programs.
• Ensure unwavering healthcare compliance adherence to state, federal regulations, and accreditation bodies like ACEN or CCNE.
• Represent the organization professionally at healthcare conferences, networking events, and partner meetings to foster new collaborations.
• Oversee student health record compliance, onboarding processes, and documentation for smooth clinical rotations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between academic leadership and clinical partners, proactively resolving issues and optimizing student experiences.
• Lead the development of compliance programs and operational strategies to support scalable growth in clinical education.
• Monitor partnership performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement data-driven enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in clinical partnerships, healthcare operations, or nursing education administration.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing clinical site agreements within hospital and long-term care settings.
• In-depth expertise in healthcare compliance, including HIPAA, OSHA, and accreditation standards for nursing programs.
• Exceptional networking, communication, and relationship-building skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with student health records management and clinical onboarding processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and healthcare compliance software.
• Ability to travel locally/regionally for partner meetings and conferences.

Preferred qualifications include RN licensure, prior experience in Albany-area healthcare networks, and familiarity with New York State education regulations.
