About the Role

The EHS Manager will lead efforts to design, implement, and monitor policies that protect employees, the facility, and the environment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will collaborate with operational managers and international HSE teams in Spain and Mexico. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve hands-on leadership in safety and environmental stewardship:

• Conduct thorough facility inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks, documenting findings in detailed reports.
• Develop and enforce inspection policies, procedures, and routine schedules to maintain compliance.
• Create comprehensive health, safety, and environmental procedures across all company operations.
• Assess potential HSE risks, devise mitigation strategies, and oversee pollution prevention initiatives.
• Manage permits, administrative procedures, and legal compliance for health, safety, and environmental aspects.
• Design and deliver training programs on emergency response, workplace safety, environmental awareness, and regulatory topics.
• Monitor adherence to procedures, lead accident investigations, facilitate safety meetings, and assist external inspections.
• Maintain critical records including material safety data sheets (MSDS), exposure logs, hazardous waste reports, and compliance documentation.
• Foster continuous improvement through monthly progress reports on safety plans and 5S implementation.
• Coordinate seamlessly with ITP Aero MRO HSE teams in Spain and Mexico, plus local operational leaders.

Additional duties may include chemical sampling strategies and promoting a proactive safety culture.

Required Qualifications

To succeed, candidates must bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field (Master’s degree highly desirable).
• At least five years of experience in industrial environments, with proven expertise in regulatory compliance.
• Deep knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, ISO 45001/14001 standards, accident investigation methodologies, and chemical measurement sampling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, safety technologies, equipment for inspections, and 5S practices.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 30, HAZWOPER 30, First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications.
