Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure Jamf Pro to manage the full lifecycle of macOS devices, from enrollment and patching to compliance enforcement and decommissioning.
  • Develop custom policies, scripts (using Bash, Python, or Swift), and configuration profiles to automate routine tasks, enhance security postures, and streamline device provisioning.
  • Partner closely with the Information Security team to enforce enterprise standards, including full-disk encryption via FileVault, timely OS updates, and strict application whitelisting.
  • Deliver advanced tier-3 technical support for complex macOS issues involving hardware diagnostics, kernel panics, third-party app conflicts, and peripheral integrations.
  • Integrate Jamf Pro seamlessly with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Azure AD, or other identity providers to enable hybrid management and single sign-on capabilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles accessible via tools like Confluence or ServiceNow.
  • Proactively monitor device health metrics, compliance status, and update deployment success rates using Jamf Pro dashboards and reporting features.
  • Lead macOS major and minor upgrade projects, including testing in staging environments, phased rollouts, and post-upgrade validation.
  • Manage application deployment strategies with Jamf Pro's Self Service portal and VPP (Volume Purchase Program) for efficient software distribution.
  • Coordinate with Apple authorized resellers and vendors for hardware procurement, RMA processes, and end-of-life device recycling in line with e-waste regulations.

Required Qualifications for Success
