Key Responsibilities

As an Entity Accountant, you'll oversee a slate of investment entities, handling all accounting, tax, legal, and financial functions. Core duties include:

  • Maintaining general ledger accounting: Prepare journal entries for investment activity, cash disbursements, receipts, expense payments, and GL reconciliations.
  • Tax management: Develop projections and workpapers for partnerships and corporations, resolving issues with managers and in-house tax experts.
  • Transaction support: Draft board packages and treasury entries for family investment organizations upon closing.
  • Document interpretation: Analyze operating agreements, by-laws, and apply provisions to entity oversight.
  • Business support: Assist professional service providers with budgets, quarterly billing, reimbursable expenses, and more.
  • Process optimization: Identify, develop, and implement improvements to streamline operations.
