  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in reporting tools and workflows for greater accuracy and speed.
  • Adaptability: Quickly onboard to new client systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday), processes, and cultures in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need a mix of technical expertise, analytical prowess, and interpersonal skills. We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced certification like CPA/CFA preferred).
  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions); experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven adaptability in consulting or multi-client environments.
  • Local to San Mateo, CA, or willing to work hybrid in the Bay Area.

Bonus points for experience in high-growth industries or with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
