Key Responsibilities

As a Fund Accountant, your core duties will include:

• Maintaining accurate fund and GP ledgers, tracking expenses, accruals, intercompany transactions, and all investment activity with precision.
• Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements compliant with GAAP, IFRS, and PE-specific reporting standards.
• Supporting seamless year-end audits by liaising with Big 4 or mid-tier auditors, compiling workpapers, and resolving findings efficiently.
• Managing tax filing processes, including partnership returns, K-1 preparation, and coordination with tax advisors.
• Monitoring cash positions across assigned funds, performing reconciliations, forecasting liquidity, and optimizing transfers.
• Reconciling bank statements, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investment valuations daily.
• Collaborating with deal teams, portfolio companies, and senior accountants to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Generating ad-hoc reports, performance analytics, and waterfall calculations to drive informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications
