About the Role

As Head of Finance, you'll be the financial backbone of a high-performing VC firm managing multiple funds with a focus on Series A-C investments. Reporting directly to the Managing Partners, you'll oversee all aspects of fund and management company operations, ensuring seamless compliance, accurate reporting, and strategic insights. This role demands a hands-on leader who can roll up sleeves for quarterly closes while architecting sophisticated tools for portfolio analytics and investor communications. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will span critical functions:

• Fund Administration Mastery: Lead quarterly closes, audits, tax compliance, and ASC 820 fair value processes with meticulous accuracy.
• Financial Operations Leadership: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting for funds and the management company.
• Systems Innovation: Design and implement platforms for deal tracking, legal docs, portfolio monitoring, and performance analytics.
• Stakeholder Communications: Craft compelling financial materials for LPs, advisory boards, leadership, and reviews.
• Vendor Coordination: Partner with external administrators, accountants, and providers for robust controls and timelines.
• Treasury Expertise: Handle cash management, capital calls, distributions, and carried interest calculations.
• Reporting & Compliance: Deliver quarterly/annual statements, audit support, tax filings, regulatory submissions, data rooms, and diligence.

Expect to support fundraising by preparing pitch materials and responding to LP diligence, all while maintaining the highest standards of governance.

Required Qualifications

To excel, bring:

• 10+ years in VC/PE fund finance, ideally at a fund administrator or investment firm.
• CPA or Big 4 experience; ASC 820 and fund accounting fluency required.
