Key Responsibilities

Implementations & Project Delivery

Take charge of end-to-end implementations for healthcare applications, modules, and third-party tools. Manage the full lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering to configuration, rigorous testing, comprehensive training, and smooth go-live. Excel at translating complex business and clinical workflows into actionable system requirements, while maintaining detailed documentation including process maps, requirements specs, and solution designs to ensure long-term success and scalability.

Systems Integration & Interoperability

Drive seamless data exchange between critical systems using interfaces, APIs, and data feeds, with a laser focus on reliability, security, and compliance. Partner with vendors and cross-functional internal teams to design, deploy, and sustain integrations spanning EHR/EMR, practice management, billing/claims processing, HRIS, CRM, scheduling, and ancillary platforms. Your expertise will eliminate silos and empower unified healthcare operations.

Application Management / Ownership

Act as the go-to system owner and administrator for designated healthcare applications. Handle all aspects of configuration, upgrades, patching, release management, and continuous optimization to boost performance and user satisfaction. Enforce robust user provisioning and access controls in line with HIPAA and organizational security policies. Proactively triage support tickets based on business impact and SLAs, leading swift resolutions to minimize downtime.

Business Intelligence, Reporting & Data Enablement

Harness your analytical prowess to design, develop, and maintain dynamic operational and clinical dashboards and reports. Convert stakeholder inquiries into precise report requirements, establishing clear data definitions, key metrics, and governance frameworks. Empower leadership and end-users with actionable insights that enhance decision-making and operational excellence.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and operational leaders, delivering transparent communication on project status, risks, mitigation strategies, and innovative solutions. Facilitate productive user working sessions, conduct hands-on training, and create user-friendly documentation like SOPs, quick-reference guides, and release notes to foster adoption and self-sufficiency.

Required Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, coupled with 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare applications and integrations. Key must-haves include proven leadership in EHR/EMR implementations, deep knowledge of interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR, and proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
