Support the end-to-end recruitment processes by scheduling interviews, corresponding with candidates via email and phone, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. You'll collaborate with hiring managers to post job openings, screen resumes, and track applicant progress through our applicant tracking system (ATS).
Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation programs, preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring new employees feel welcomed and equipped from day one. This includes setting up IT access, workspace arrangements, and initial training schedules.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records in our HR Information System (HRIS), including personal data, performance reviews, and payroll information. Regular audits and data entry will be key to compliance and operational efficiency.
Administer employee benefits programs, support open enrollment periods, and respond to employee queries about health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. You'll liaise with benefits providers to resolve issues promptly.
Help manage HR compliance by preparing reports for audits, tracking required trainings, and staying abreast of California labor laws. Assist in EEO reporting, I-9 verifications, and other regulatory requirements.
Address day-to-day employee inquiries on policies, payroll, and leave requests. Support special HR-related projects, such as employee engagement initiatives or policy updates, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
To excel as our HR Coordinator, you'll need 1-2 years of HR administrative experience, preferably in a coordinator or assistant role. Proficiency in HRIS platforms like Workday or BambooHR is essential, along with strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication is a must for interacting with candidates, employees, and executives. Knowledge of HR compliance, including California-specific employment laws, is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
