This includes monitoring adherence to wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination statutes, and workplace safety standards specific to California's rigorous labor environment.
Manage comprehensive employee onboarding processes, from initial paperwork to orientation sessions, facilitating seamless transitions for new hires. Coordinate full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and final hiring decisions to build top-tier teams.
Administer and maintain Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) for accurate record-keeping, payroll integration, and generating insightful reports. Conduct background checks, verify employment eligibility via E-Verify, and ensure all documentation meets legal standards.
Support employee relations by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Provide expert guidance on California labor laws, assist with training programs, and collaborate with management on strategic HR initiatives like performance management and talent development.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information while organizing HR documentation for audits, benefits enrollment, and performance reviews. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in this high-stakes role.
