Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve hands-on configuration and optimization of IAM infrastructures:

• Configure and support federation partnerships with internal applications and external entities, ensuring secure and reliable connections.
• Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions leveraging Azure AD/Entra ID, with potential exposure to legacy systems like SiteMinder.
• Manage authentication flows by configuring protocols such as SAML and OpenID Connect, including claims mapping and metadata management.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to tackle complex federation and identity challenges, fostering knowledge sharing and innovation.
• Lead onboarding processes for new integrations, strictly adhering to internal security standards while swiftly resolving authentication issues.
• Work proficiently with leading identity providers including Azure AD, Okta, and Ping, with a focus on seamless federation and application onboarding.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authentication-related challenges, maintaining system reliability and minimizing downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with federation protocols through meticulous management of certificates, claims, and tokens.
• Optimize app registrations and enterprise configurations within Azure AD/Entra ID for peak performance.
• Deliver technical expertise on federation metadata, Active Directory attributes, and related IAM components.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this IAM Engineer role at Robert Half, candidates should possess:

• Proven experience with Azure AD/Entra ID for federation and SSO implementations.
• Strong proficiency in SAML, OpenID Connect, and other authentication protocols.
• Hands-on knowledge of identity platforms like Okta, Ping, and optionally SiteMinder.
