Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic legal work and hands-on collaboration. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases and transactional documents with precision and full compliance to laws and company policies.
  • Engaging in clear, effective communication with external parties such as lenders, brokers, tenants, opposing counsel, and financial institutions on leasing issues.
  • Creating detailed lease abstracts and conducting thorough analyses of agreements to highlight critical terms, risks, and opportunities.
  • Organizing and circulating essential legal documents for real estate deals, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Overseeing contract compliance, monitoring adherence to governing laws, regulations, and internal standards.
  • Partnering with internal teams during negotiations to resolve deal-specific challenges and optimize outcomes.
  • Providing expert advice on deadlines, legal procedures, and potential pitfalls to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Upholding the highest standards of confidentiality for company and client-sensitive information.

Required Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice in Maryland.
