Key Responsibilities

As an Instructional Designer, you'll drive the technical and creative aspects of this LMS migration:

  • Content Inventory & Audit: Systematically locate source files (authoring, video projects, assessments) and evaluate migration readiness across PetSmart's learning portfolio.
  • Redesign & Rebuild: Transform outdated content using Articulate Storyline and Rise, addressing technical gaps and enhancing user engagement.
  • Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all materials meet WCAG standards and PetSmart's branding guidelines for inclusive learning.
  • Migration Preparation: Package assets for new LMS upload, including rigorous QA testing and stakeholder validation.

Required Qualifications

  • Ensure all learning materials comply with new LMS technical and design standards, including accessibility requirements
  • Apply consistent visual, instructional, and accessibility standards as defined by PetSmart
  • Prepare finalized learning assets for seamless upload to the new LMS
  • Support QA, testing, and validation of migrated content and address defects or issues
