  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of IT audits, ensuring staffing, scheduling, and client coordination result in on-time, high-quality deliverables.
  • Design and implement audit programs and testing procedures aligned with industry benchmarks like COBIT, NIST, CIS Controls, and CSA standards.
  • Monitor audit engagements closely, prioritizing workloads, escalating issues to the Director of Internal Audit, and drafting concise, oversight-minimal reports that highlight critical findings.
  • Maintain audit quality by enforcing Global IIA Standards, department policies, and delivering projects within budget and timelines.
  • Foster cross-functional initiatives, such as risk assessments and compliance monitoring, while cultivating a constructive, collaborative audit environment.
  • Coach junior staff, build stakeholder relationships, and provide value-added consultations to enhance efficiencies, mitigate risks, and uncover cost-saving opportunities.
  • Incorporate data analytics to boost audit effectiveness, reveal operational insights, and support the development of key risk indicators (KRIs) for IT, financial, and operational risks.
