About the Role

As a key member of the Labor & Employment practice group, you'll provide top-tier legal counsel and representation to clients navigating the complexities of employment law. Key Responsibilities

Core Litigation Duties

Lead employment litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, and trying cases in court. Defend against claims of wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and wage/hour violations under FLSA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and Pennsylvania-specific statutes.

Advisory and Counseling Services

Offer day-to-day guidance on employee relations, policy development, and risk management. Draft employment contracts, non-competes, severance agreements, and employee handbooks tailored to diverse industries.

Investigations and Compliance

Manage internal workplace investigations, ensure OSHA compliance, and advise on union avoidance, collective bargaining, and labor relations strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active Pennsylvania bar license.
  • 3-5+ years of substantive Labor & Employment experience at a law firm or in-house.
