Key Responsibilities

As a Landlord-Tenant Attorney, your days will be filled with impactful work:

• Represent clients aggressively in Housing Court for non-payment and holdover proceedings, ensuring swift resolutions.
• Draft and meticulously review essential legal documents like rent demands, termination notices, predicate notices, and settlement agreements.
• Manage plenary actions involving breach of contract, lease disputes, and more complex commercial matters.
• Provide expert counsel on lease defaults, modifications, evictions, and compliance with NYC regulations.
• Advocate for co-op and condo boards, landlords, and property owners across courts and administrative bodies.
• Tackle specialized litigation such as unauthorized alterations, access refusals, construction damage, injunctions, and trespass cases.
• Oversee the full litigation lifecycle: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials.
• Prosecute and defend intricate commercial lease and property disputes.

Required Qualifications
