Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain internal business applications to ensure maximum system availability, stability, and optimal performance.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex application, database, and integration issues, delivering swift resolutions.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis and develop long-term preventative solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Lead testing, deployment, and release activities for application updates, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation and deliver training or guidance to empower internal users.

Data, Integration & Development Support

  • Write, review, and optimize complex SQL Server queries to enhance data retrieval and processing efficiency.
  • Manage and support SmartConnect integrations between Great Plains and various internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot challenges in data movement, integrations, and API-based workflows for reliable operations.
  • Handle database performance tuning, ensure data integrity, and fulfill critical reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and IT partners to build and refine enhancements and integrations.

ERP & Microsoft Platform Support

  • Provide expert support for Microsoft Great Plains (GP) environments, ensuring robust functionality.
  • Leverage prior Dynamics 365 experience (Business Central, Finance & Operations, CRM) for future ERP/CRM planning.
  • Assist in ERP and CRM evaluation, testing, and integration as platforms evolve strategically.
  • Apply knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their seamless integration with ERP platforms.
  • Develop and support Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions in partnership with business teams.

Required Qualifications
