Key Responsibilities

As a key player in this team, your day-to-day will involve:

• Deploying, managing, and troubleshooting physical and virtual infrastructure across multiple factories and office locations to minimize downtime.
• Designing and administering robust on-prem and cloud infrastructures, leveraging AWS, EC2 instances, Kubernetes orchestration, and KVM/QEMU virtualization.
• Configuring and supporting advanced network infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls and VPNs, Juniper routing/switching, and AWS TGW for seamless connectivity.
• Building and optimizing automation pipelines with industry-leading tools like Terraform for IaC, Ansible for configuration management, Python scripting, and GitOps for CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborating with cybersecurity experts to implement DLP solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and deploy proactive monitoring tools.
• Delivering Tier 3 support for mission-critical issues, interfacing with vendors to resolve complex problems swiftly.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation for systems, network architectures, and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and audits.
• Partnering cross-functionally with Data Science, Manufacturing, and engineering teams to align infrastructure with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this Network Engineer role, you bring:

• Senior-level expertise in network engineering with a strong DevOps and automation mindset.
• Deep hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, Juniper networking, AWS cloud networking (EC2, TGW), Kubernetes, and KVM/QEMU.
• Proven skills in infrastructure as code (Terraform), orchestration (Ansible), scripting (Python), and GitOps practices.
• Experience supporting hybrid environments, factory/production systems, and Tier 3 escalations.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols including DLP, compliance frameworks, and monitoring solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, vendor management experience, and strong documentation habits.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience); certifications like CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or Palo Alto PCNSE are a plus.
